Xiaomi Mi 9 SE smartphone was launched in February 2019. The phone comes with a 5.97-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels at a PPI of 432 pixels per inch for an immersive video watching experience and it features a waterdrop notch and a slightly thicker chin. The high-resolution display occupies almost the entire front and ensures that the smartphone has a very modern look.

Front camera: On the front the Mi 9 SE packs a 20MP selfie shooter similar to the Mi 9. The selfie camera sits in the waterdrop notch.
Battery: The Mi 9 SE includes a 3,070mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Software: Similar to the Mi 9, the Mi 9 SE also runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The Android is based on MIUI 10.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is powered by Snapdragon 712 Octa Core processor, which promises clock rates of up to 2.3 GHz and supported by generously dimensioned 6 GB RAM, even future generations of apps and modern 3D mobile games are no problem at all for this technical marvel. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is one of the best camera smartphones on the market despite its competitive price. Whoever tries the Mi 9 SE will not believe his eyes. The triple combination of 48, 8 and 13 megapixel sensors can reveal even the smallest details. The Sony IMX586 sensor is also fitted with a f/1.75 aperture, which can capture a lot of light. The wide-angle lens, on the other hand, allows breathtaking panoramic shots.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE runs Android 9.0 on top of MIUI 10 and is powered by a 3,070mAh that is capped with 18W. Unlike most devices, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack. It measures 147.50 x 70.50 x 7.45 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 155.00 grams.

All of these new devices will be launching in China on February 26th, and pre-orders are already open. There’s no word just yet on international availability, but pricing makes us hope that will be the case. The Xiaomi Mi 9 in its base, 6GB/128GB tier will cost 2,999 yuan, just about $445. The 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB tiers cost 3,299 yuan and 3,999 yuan respectively. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, on the other hand, costs just 1,999 yuan, or roughly $300.
