Redmi 8 is an upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi. The phone come with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. There s a notch at the top, but it also brings support for DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10 compatibility. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel. The Mi 8 has a glass-and-metal design, with the metal part being Series 7000 Aluminium and the glass part being Gorilla Glass 5.

As far as the cameras are concerned, here are two 12MP cameras at the Mi 8 s rear. The primary 12MP .55-inch camera sensor has f/1.8 aperture, 1.4 micron pixels, dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus and 4-axis OIS. The secondary 12MP camera uses a smaller .4-inch sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 1 micron pixels, and 2x optical zoom lens (56mm). The rear-facing camera setup has dual-LED flash and can record 4K videos at a maximum frame rate of 30fps. The 20MP selfie camera at the front has fixed focus, f/2.0 aperture and 0.9 micron pixels. The phone can capture images with background blur (bokeh or portrait mode) using front and rear cameras.
