Oppo A77 smartphone was launched in May 2017. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The screen is not protected by a Scratch Resistant display. The new Oppo A77 flaunts a metal unibody design with a front-mounted home button which also doubles up as the fingerprint scanner. The Oppo A77 is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. What this means is the processor has Octa cores in the CPU and 4 GB of RAM ensures the phone runs smoothly with multiple applications open simultaneously. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo A77 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Video Recording and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.The Oppo A77 runs Android 6.0 with Oppo’s custom UI, Color OS version 3.0 on top, this offers almost the latest in terms of software, as the custom OS adds some of the features that can be found in the latest version of Android and is powered by a 3200mAh non removable battery which is built into the phone to achieve its metal unibody.
The Oppo A77 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, It has a fingerprint sensor which is embedded into its home button and Ambient light sensor.
The device is currently listed on company’s Taiwanese website and it will be available for pre-orders in Taiwan starting tomorrow, May 19 and costs NT$ 10,990 in Taiwan. The Official availability will start from May 26. The Oppo A77 comes in Gold and Rose Gold colours.
