If genuine – and it is likely to be so – the materials show a handset with an aluminium unibody design, coated for a ceramic-style texture and feel. The Plus model carries a more powerful mid-range Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm as opposed to the Snapdragon 630, and as a result, the CPU is coupled with an Adreno 512 graphics chip instead of the Adreno 508, 4GB of RAM, along with 64GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone is rumoured to pack 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded. Charging is through USB-C, with Quick-Charging tech in force.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 7 Plus is likely to feature Carl Zeiss’ dual-camera setup. This will include a combination of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel snappers with support for 2X optical zoom, Pro mode, and Bothie feature. Up front, there is likely to be a 16-megapixel snapper.
The device should launch with Android Oreo out of the box sprinkled with minor UI modifications and additions. The rest of the expected feature list includes a fingerprint sensor, a battery with Quick Charging support, and USB Type-C port.
Connectivity options are said to include Wi-Fi. Sensors on the phone are rumoured to include Proximity sensor and Accelerometer. The handset is also expected to include 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C port. The source claims that it will be available with a pricing of 410 euros (~$508).
